The Wellbeing support bursary fund is currently closed

<aside> š We have created a bursary which everyone in our network can apply for. Here we explain the types of mental and emotional health support which you can access if you feel that you need it, the amount you can apply for and the process to follow.
We are open to hearing suggestions for support which might not be covered here, noting this is intended as a guide. Everyone is welcome to apply for support according to their need. In the eventuality that the fund has depleted we will communicate to the network that we are closing the offer until extra resource can be found. We are trusting that our value of curiosity will guide how we approach this experiment
Following an initial pilot from September-December 2024, we have now reopened the fund until the end of March 2025.

<aside> ā¤ļø We recognise that sometimes work can be overwhelming and that often the demands of both work and life cannot be separated. Everybody needs support to cope with the multiple challenges which being a human can present.
The intention here is to create a framework for holding our partners and collaborators with care, ensuring that our value of love is woven into the way in which we work, in recognition that sometimes we all need a helping hand. There is no āone size fits allā approach to mental and emotional wellbeing. We all start from where we are. Wellbeing is a holistic practice and we believe it is up to each individual to determine their own needs.
Following the race riots in August 2024 we felt it was time to explore opportunities to support wellbeing in the network.
This approach also aligns with our value of equity, as we encourage every person to seek tailored support according to their own needs, rather than following an equality driven approach which would suggest that everyone accesses the same support. Each individualās support needs will be different, because each person is unique.
It is difficult to create a framework which caters for this open approach to supporting mental and emotional wellbeing so we intend to iterate this as we go, and provide the network with the freedom and space to experiment and find what works.

You can apply for up to £300 per person, per application. Following the pilot phase, the fund is open both to new applicants and to previous applicants to make a second request.
The fund will close at the end of March 2025, or when the fund (Ā£6,000) is spent, whichever is sooner.
NB: we consulted our accountants and they advised that payments you receive from this fund may be taxable for you, as it is received in relation to an existing trade. You may wish to take advice on this from your own accountants.
